Credenza

Hand-made credenza / speaker cabinet built over the course of 2 weeks while in London Ontario visiting family. Walnut wood is used throughout the cabinet with white highlights to add contrast and emphasize form. The built-in sound system is recovered from an old Dominion Electrohome IND. LTD. Circa 75 model that was purchased off of Kijiji. With the fantastic styling of the center console, it was important to keep it exposed and be a prominent feature to the cabinet. Two speaker boxes are constructed into the wood body on either side, providing excellent sound quality. Behind the left sliding door hides the accompanying record player to enjoy your own music collection.
